Meagan Meegan, M.S., CCC-SLP
Founder, Speech & Language Therapist
Meg is the founder and owner of Talk SALT, LLC. She has been practicing in the field of speech and language pathology since 2008. Meg began her career in private practice and continued the tradition opening her own practice in August of 2015. Meg studied at Emerson College and earned her post-graduate degree at Boston University where she formed a specific interest in stuttering and language-based learning disabilities. Currently, Meg works with children with a wide range of disabilities with a focus in Dyslexia, Language-Based Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Phonological Disorders. Meg’s practice philosophy is family first, so a client’s initial assessment includes an interview with parents to determine family dynamics and provide the most effective teaching methods. In addition to treatment, Meg performs comprehensive oral and written language evaluations.
Meg also provides consultations to families interested in learning about educational planning for their children. Meg’s consultations include review of documents pertaining to speech and language development and recommendations for community and educational programming when appropriate. In addition, Meg provides training and recommendations for incorporating executive functioning and language stimulation in the home setting. Finally, Meg attends IEP meetings for clients currently on her caseloads to ensure carryover and generalization of speech and language skills into all settings.
In her spare time, Meg enjoys spending time with her son, reading, and writing.
